Carl J. Schmiedeskamp Garner's New Assistant

QUINCY, IL -- November 24, 1922 -- Carl J. Schmiedeskamp, recently admitted to the bar and a brother of Henry Schmiedesakmp, of Wilson & Schmiedeskamp, attorneys was named as an assistant to State's Attorney J. F. Garner Friday mornin, to take the place of Carl Berter, 'who resigned a short time ago because of his increasing business. Young Mr. Schmiedeskamp is a bright and active young man, and his friends predict success in his new position.

"I kind of like the name of Carl", said State's Attorney Garner in making the announcement and I have not yet been disappointed in anybody of that name."
