Ted Niemann Elected to ISBA Board of Governors Area VI

With over four decades of dedicated service to the legal profession, Niemann's election underscores his commitment to the legal community in Western and Central Illinois.

Niemann's extensive experience spans more than 40 years of active engagement with the ISBA, where he has demonstrated unwavering dedication and leadership. In his new role, he will represent member attorneys from 20 counties, advocating for their interests and ensuring their voices are heard within the association. As an advocate for improving ISBA services to rural downstate attorneys, Niemann pledges to enhance accessibility and relevance through initiatives such as timely seminars, informative newsletters, networking opportunities, referral services, and mentoring programs. Niemann's ISBA accomplishments include chairing the ISBA's statewide Real Estate Law Section Council on two occasions and serving as a committee member for over 25 years. His contributions to the legal profession have been recognized as the recipient of the 2023 ISBA Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award. In addition, Niemann currently serves as a member of the ISBA Assembly, where he continues to contribute valuable insights and leadership.
