David G. Penn

David has over 30 years of experience in civil litigation and personal injury law. He initially practiced in Chicago in a civil litigation firm. With SRNM, David has handled a wide variety of commercial and personal injury litigation matters in State and federal courts.

Now, as head of the Employment and Education Law practice groups at SRNM, David represents clients in a range of employment issues, focusing on management and employer perspectives. His work includes guiding clients through litigation in employment discrimination matters in administrative proceedings and State and federal lawsuits. In the education sector, David serves as legal counsel for local K-12 school districts and two colleges, managing matters that span personnel issues, student discipline, constitutional rights, civil rights, and open governance. His work in education law is built on a commitment to protecting rights and ensuring clarity in complex regulatory environments.

Recently, David completed the Civil Mediation Training Course at the National Judicial College, bringing a comprehensive skillset to his clients.
