SRNM Partner, Jim Hansen, Appointed to Chair the Illinois Supreme Court Rules Committee

Our colleague Jim Hansen was notified recently that he has been appointed the new Chair of the Illinois Supreme Court Rules Committee for a two-year term through the end of December 2022. The Committee oversees the administration of the court system in Illinois and, along with the legislature, promulgates the rules for all state courts.

The appointment was made by the Illinois Supreme Court justices and is a rare honor for a downstate lawyer and a credit to the quality of Jim’s service on the Committee for the past five years. We congratulate Jim on this honor for himself, our firm and all downstate lawyers.
