Theresa A. Phelps
Theresa A. Phelps practices in the areas of commercial and employment litigation. She has been involved in a number of cases both at the trial and appellate level. After finishing law school, she was a judicial law clerk for a federal district judge in the Southern District of Illinois, and following that clerkship, she was a litigation lawyer for Lewis, Rice & Fingersh in St. Louis.
Theresa is an active member of and performs volunteer and pro bono work for the Apostolic Church of Belleville and the United Pentecostal Church International, and is a regular supporter of the Metro East Humane Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. She has also assisted with the Special Olympics held in Edwardsville, Illinois and Read Across America, an educational program designed to encourage reading in elementary school students.
