David G. Penn
David G. Penn concentrates his practice in the areas of the defense of personal injury claims, product liability, commercial litigation, insurance coverage law, appellate litigation, education law, and employment law. He represents both publicly and privately held manufacturing companies, agribusinesses and other businesses in commercial litigation and their insurance carriers in insurance defense matters. He advises many of the firm’s clients regarding employment matters and litigation arising from employment relationships. He also assists with the firm’s representation of public school systems. He regularly appears in federal, state, and appellate courts, has tried numerous criminal and civil cases to verdict, and has argued appeals in the Third, Fourth, and Fifth District Courts of Appeal for the State of Illinois. He also appears before various administrative agencies related to employment law disputes and claims.
David is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Adams County, currently serving as President-Elect. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Cornerstone, a family service agency. He is also actively involved in youth sports as a volunteer coach in soccer, softball, and basketball.
