William G. Keller, Jr.
William G. Keller, Jr., the Managing Partner of the firm, focuses his practice in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, banking, estate planning, probate, corporate, and health care law. He represents a publicly held, multi-state bank holding company and its subsidiary banks, various large and mid-sized privately held corporations, other businesses, physicians and physician groups, a preferred provider organization, and many individuals. He also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to estate and trust administration, including the preparation of federal and state estate tax, gift tax and income tax returns, and representing clients in audits and appeals of such returns before the IRS. He has represented companies in mergers and acquisitions, including several agricultural industry clients, banks and bank holding companies. He also represents businesses in general business matters, such as contracts, commercial real estate, and governance issues.
Bill has had extensive community involvement over his professional career. He has been on the founding boards of directors of three charitable foundations, including the local public school foundation, Quincy Foundation for Quality Education, the area community foundation, Community Foundation of the Quincy Area, and a family and child care foundation, Chaddock Children’s Foundation. Bill is currently a director of Transitions Foundation, a charitable foundation supporting mental health. In addition, Bill has served on numerous boards of charitable organizations in Quincy and has been a very active member of the Lutheran Church of St. John, having been Chairman, an Elder, Treasurer, and Chairman of its Evangelism Committee.
